Sheyenne (Shay) Taylor—the creator behind Lunatrix Creates

I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember— painting, drawing, designing, and thriving on imagination.

As an artist, I am drawn to vibrant, abstract, and surreal worlds. I enjoy pieces that tell a story through color and texture, sometimes where words can’t. I approach my work as someone who is chronically ill, neurodivergent, and disabled, and my mental and physical health play a huge role in what and how I create. I am particularly drawn to human emotion and expression because it is the one thing we all share, regardless of our diverse experiences. This perspective also inspired me to launch Cinder Magazine, an art and literature magazine that celebrates disabled creatives, where I serve as the founder and Editor-in-Chief.

Alongside my personal art, I’m also a graphic designer, helping businesses and individuals bring their visions to life. I love creating print and digital work that’s engaging, and versatile— from packaging and apparel to invitations, flyers, menus, and social content. I work best when I can experiment with style while keeping the work functional, meaningful, and visually striking.
